Dear Fellow-Commemorators! American-Hungarians throughout the New York metropolitan area announce a joint ceremony to honor the memory of the 90th Anniversary of the Trianon Dictate. Our intention is to represent Hungarians around the world In front of the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The commemoration will signify the urgency and relevance of the ongoing unjust treatment of Hungarian minorities throughout the Carpathian Basin. On this commemoration, we kindly ask you to remember a tragic event which remains trivialized and ignored. In spite of the relentless propaganda to marginalize this issue, the systematic oppression of Hungarian minorities persists to this day. Join us at the intersection of First Ave and 47th Street, in Dag Hammarskjold Park East, by the UN Palace, on June 6, at 12:30 pm.
